Arecont Vision Responds to Middle East Demand for Megapixel Technology

Arecont Vision is investing heavily in its Middle East operations in response to the region’s increasing interest in the latest technology. The company is one of the top international names in the industry when it comes to IP-based megapixel camera technology, and Sanjit Bardhan, Director – the Middle East, India, and Africa at Arecont Vision, says the Middle East is one of Arecont Vision’s top priorities.

“The Middle East has always been a high growth market for the security industry, and in particular, over the past several years, it has become clear that the interest in megapixel technology has increased rapidly. Customers in the Middle East are eager to deploy high-quality technology, and Arecont Vision fulfills that need,” he says.

Bardhan stresses that high-quality technology, particularly with regard to CCTV surveillance, is also growing in demand due to more than end-user interest in technology. Several countries have mandated the use of high-quality technology, which has become a key driver for the adoption of the latest products and services.

Given Arecont Vision’s product offering, it’s easy to see why the company is making an impact in the region.

The Middle East security industry has a variety of unique requirements to take into consideration, from environmental factors to rapid infrastructure growth in the area. Bardhan says that Arecont Vision has a solution for every requirement.

“Like every market, the Middle East has its own unique set of challenges. They are challenges that we address on an individual basis to satisfy our customers and have succeeded in doing so, and we are growing as a trusted partner to our customers thus far.”

Speaking about Arecont Vision’s products, Bardhan added, “Although it is extremely difficult to point any specific feature for the region one of the key features of our products that suits Middle East’s specific requirements is the fact that our products are manufactured to withstand the high-temperature climates in the region. This has enabled us to successfully deploy several projects in the Middle East. In addition, our panoramic cameras have always been a game-changer. With customers adapting to panoramic technology security deployments are becoming far more streamlined. This technology allows customers to view large areas using fewer cameras, lesser infrastructure and ultimately at lower deployment costs.”

He adds, “Arecont Vision has a solution for every need in the Middle Eastern security market, which has been one of the reasons for our success. As soon as our customer understands the benefits of megapixel technology deployment, they understand that we have unique products that can satisfy every need, in every vertical.”

In order to maximize the company’s presence in the region, Arecont Vision has been taking measures to extend its Middle East presence. One such effort is to strengthen its team with new appointments, the most recent of which was the appointment of Mohammed Khoga as the company’s new Regional Sales Manager covering Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Speaking about Khoga’s appointment, Bardhan says, “Beyond his sales experience, Mohammed brings extensive expertise in training and business development to his new position. Together with his global perspective, these assets will greatly benefit Arecont Vision and our customers as we continue to educate the market on the benefits and advantages of megapixel camera technology.”

He goes on to say, “Arecont Vision is investing heavily in the region and in technical and marketing resources, as we aim to continue and sustain our growth in this area. In addition, Arecont Vision has a robust sales force located in various parts of the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent. We have a strong presence in every vertical market thanks to a long list of high-profile installations that we have completed in the past several years and this is fuelling ongoing growth.”
