Key updates range from entirely online project registration and thirty-day demo requests, to enhanced Arecont Vision University online and classroom certification training, and to easier access to the Arecont Vision Megalab for configuration testing and validation.
Details of the new enhancements to the Arecont Vision Reseller Partner Program include an Online Project Registration facility. The Arecont Vision Project Registration programme is now online to ensure rapid acknowledgement and turnaround of registration requests for Authorised Resellers. The programme continues to help to ensure that Authorized Resellers who have invested the time with their customers to design the best solution are rewarded with additional discount. In this manner, other resellers are not able to enter the deal at the last minute and try to win based on price alone.
“Not all project registration programmes are created equal. Vendors that provide two or three additional discount points don’t really do much to separate the designing integrator from others that may swoop in and try to steal the deal away,” said Scott Schafer, Arecont Vision Executive Vice President. “We deliver substantial discount to allow our Authorized Resellers to make more money when they sell our product line. That becomes an important part of how they can continue to make a profit and grow their business in a changing market while delivering superior technology and value to the customer.”
In addition, the Arecont Vision University equips Reseller Partner Program members, architects, engineers, consultants, and other industry professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to design, install, implement, and support megapixel solutions through the Channel Partner Certification Program (CPCP) and the Advanced CPCP Program. Since 2009, nearly 5,000 students have completed a mix of classroom and online training through Arecont Vision University. Many of the courses offer continuing education credits. There is also a newly updated classroom and the latest online training modules are designed to get Authorized Resellers up to speed quickly and to maintain their knowledge with the latest information on leading megapixel camera products and technology.
Members also have access to the Arecont Vision Megalab. Since its launch in 2010, it has been widely used to validate new software releases and products and to test and troubleshoot configurations so that members can deliver the best possible integration and reliability for customer projects. Authorized Resellers are now also able to leverage the Megalab for their own configuration, validation, and testing purposes in support of registered projects and installations of Arecont Vision cameras without creating an extensive test facility of their own.
The programme is made up of three tiers - Gold, Silver, and Bronze for Authorized Resellers. Each level receives access to highly competitive pricing via the Arecont Vision network of Authorized Distributors. Through the programme, Authorized Resellers have access to many benefits and resources to help ensure their success in the sale and support of Arecont Vision products. Gold and Silver Authorized Resellers receive additional benefits to match their commitment to the program and to customers.
